
ORLANDO, Fla. - COMPTEL members on Monday, Oct. 10th elected their 2005-2006
Board of Directors. Nine directors were elected in each of the large, medium
and small member categories. Of the 27 directors, 14 will serve one-year
terms and 13 will serve for two years.
Gary Storm, President & CEO of vCom Solutions, was elected to a 2-year term.
"It is an honor to be elected to the Board of COMPTEL," said Storm. "I look
forward to representing the Small Carrier Group, and I am excited to foster
a stronger relationship between our members, so we can compete against the
ILECs. I also look forward to working with all the Board Members to make
sure our voice is being heard in Washington, and that the competitive industry
continues to offer a choice to businesses."
COMPTEL also named member company representatives to serve on its Executive
