Flow Solutions Partners with vCom for Telecom Expense Management and More

National Processing Systems and Filtration Provider Renews Partnership with vCom

March 2005 – With services and products supporting a diverse selection of industries, including Semiconductor Microelectronics, Fuel & Chemicals, Biopharmaceuticals, Power Generation, Gas Purification, and other markets, Flow Solutions, Inc., has successfully become the "Best of the Best at solving customers' fluid clarification, separation, monitoring and control problems most cost effectively by utilizing quality products and value-added services."

With offices throughout the United States, Flow Solutions' business driving force to “perform beyond customer satisfaction”, continues to motivate its management team to embrace technology as a catalyst for overcoming geographic boundaries and building business efficiencies. In 2002, Flow Solutions partnered with vCom Solutions for the management of telecommunication spend and services. Two and a half years later, the partnership between the two organizations continues to grow strong. From the beginning, vCom Solutions has leveraged its expertise in telecom expense management to help Flow gain a better handle over telecom spend. Today Flow Solutions' Operations, Technology and Finance teams track carrier services and inventory online using vCom’s Manager 6.0 Software; receive bills from all providers electronically in one central repository; track costs by accounting codes for all inventory; automatically monitor vendors to make sure they are being billed for the services they ordered at the prices they have under contract; and provide managers visibility of communication costs across the entire organization.

Having saved significantly on local, long distance and conferencing services through vCom, Flow Solutions looked for vCom early on to provide a cost-effective and robust solution to integrate voice and data services between offices. Of paramount importance was building an architecture that supported scalability, enabling Flow to gain better control of all telecom spend without a compromise in quality of service or redundancy. vCom helped Flow deploy a fault-tolerant Wide Area Network that links all offices and centralizes all data services. Through one of its partners, vCom worked with Flow to implement a new standardized phone and voice messaging system across the enterprise with management tools and remote administration. vCom implemented a Voice over IP solution with the objective of saving 20-30% on usage costs from least-cost routing and inter-office communication, in addition to building efficiencies like the ability for exchanging messages, and leveraging a large voicemail platform in one office to support a branch office.

"Flow Solutions was looking for scalable solutions that would allow them to better serve their customers," said Sameer Hilal, COO of vCom. "We are delighted that we were able to provide Flow with the innovative services that would add value to their business, and thrilled to have earned their trust through the years. Partnerships like this are what keep our business successful."

"vCom Solutions has stood beside us and many times led us during times of organic growth and growth through acquisition," indicated Karen Bryant, Group Leader of Sales and Marketing Services for Flow Solutions. "We trust they are always working to make sure our best interests are met and that the systems we put in place are the best choices for Flow Solutions, Inc. now and the future. The business partners they have recommended to us along the way, have always met the same high standards we have come to expect from vCom Solutions. Increasing efficiencies through technology and cost optimization are two of our business objectives, vCom Solutions remains a dedicated partner working toward success in both areas."
