October 2008 - vCom Augments Carrier Partnerships, Adds PAETEC and New Edge Networks


In a continued efforts to provide our customers a comprehensive solution offering and a single resource for the procurement and ongoing management of telecom services, vCom continues to expand its partnerships with national Tier 1 and Tier 2 carriers. In the second and third quarter, respectively, vCom added two new carriers, New Edge Networks and PAETEC Communications.


PAETEC delivers communications solutions in more than 80 percent of the nation's top 100 metropolitan areas. Through its acquisition of US LEC and McLeod, it expanded it nationwide footprint and breadth of products. PAETEC's core offering portfolio spans data, voice, and Internet communications services.


New Edge Networks builds and manages private IP-based wide area networks. Connecting business sites at virtually any address in the United States, New Edge allows businesses to choose any blend of available access technologies - from DSL and T1 lines to fiber-optic and wireless broadband connections - for building private and secure MPLS networks with performance guarantees.


vCom is in talks with two additional carriers, Global Crossing and TelePacific, to further enhance its service offering.
