November 2008 - vCom Going Green in 2009
San Ramon, CA, November 2008 - vCom is proud to announce that we are Going Green in 2009! In an effort to reduce the nearly 4 billion trees cut down worldwide each year for paper, we will be leveraging our powerful web portal, vManager, for presenting our monthly invoice to all our customers.
vCom currently uses in excess of 13,000 sheets of paper for monthly billing invoices. With an average tree yielding about 8,000-9,000 sheets of paper, we are looking to do our part, one tree at a time!
For customers who do not have access to vManager, in order to ensure that they continue to receive their invoices in a timely manner, vCom will provide them access to vManager Package 1, which includes the Invoice & Basic Spend Report Modules. In addition, on a monthly basis, we will email all customers an invoice summary sheet with a link to vManager for the full details of their invoice. Customers will also be able to print a paper copy of the vCom invoice from vManager, should business require it. Our goal is to transition all customers to our electronic invoice by March 31, 2009.
