OPEN: Business Development Manager

JOB TITLE: Business Development Manager

DEPARTMENT: Sales

REPORTS TO: Executive Vice President, Sales

GENERAL PURPOSE: Generate leads and referrals through prospecting, outside sales, and networking.

vCom Solutions, Inc. is currently seeking a Business Development Manager for our rapidly growing business. The candidate must have 5+ years of experience selling to mid-size businesses with multiple locations. vCom is looking for people with a background in selling network carrier solutions, telecom expense management solutions or professional services solutions.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Qualify new opportunities within an installed base.
Work closely with the Client Management Team to drive sales.
Develop effective sales strategies.
Deliver sales presentations and demonstrations.
Create proposals and respond to RFP’s.
Ensure appropriate coverage of sales territory.
Achieve designated sales quotas.
Develop sales pipeline and revenue forecasts

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

BA/BS degree required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Rolodex of appropriate decision-makers from other past sales roles
Proven success in cold calling/prospecting/driving sales cycle
5+ years of direct sales experience - preferably in the communications industry
Proven ability to carry and achieve sales quotas
Experience in prospecting and closing a high volume of deals
Ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment.
Strong listener
A passion for success
