San Ramon CA (March 10, 2011) - vCom Solutions, the pioneer of Telecom Management as a Service (TMaaS™) for the growing Enterprise, announced the release of vManager 3.1, an update to its powerful Telecom Expense Management software.

vManager Security has been updated to allow for data-level security by Cost Center on a per-user basis. With this implemented, Administators are now able to assign specific cost-centers to their vManager users thereby restricting those users to be able to view only Inventory, Orders, Cases, and most importantly Charges that are associated to their cost-center(s). This provides for the capability for Cost Center Managers to be able to view only the spend they are responsible for - all reporting has been updated as well to ensure that Administrators can be secure in the knowledge that their Cost Center Manager users are not seeing data for other Cost Center Managers.

With respect to the Accounting module, we've streamlined the interface to improve the user experience. The Cost Center Tab and the AP Posting tabs have been combined in vManager into one new tab called Accounting. From here, users can manage both their Cost Centers and the view their AP Posting files all in one location.

We're excited to announce the launch of a dedicated Wireless tab to vManager. From here you can view all Wireless inventory and we've created new Wireless specific reports providing you with business intelligence you need to help manage your wireless spend.

Finally our reporting engine has been updated with the addition of 2 new reports. The Under User Conference Bridge report presents a list on a monthly basis of Audio Conference bridges that had fewer than 3 users in attendance. By managing this report, you are able to track users that booked bridges where a "standard" conference call would have been less expensive. We've also added an Inventory By Hunt Group report. This report lets users view and manage their existing hunt groups with much greater clarity rather than having to manually find this data through the Inventory module.
