San Ramon, May 2010 -  vCom Solutions, the leading Telecom Expense Management service provider, announced in 2009 it would leverage its powerful web portal – vManager – for paperless invoicing to all customers, an effort which would save in excess of 13,000 sheets of paper per month.  vCom is making an even larger effort to become a Green Certified Business in 2010 to further reduce its carbon footprint.  As part of that environmental initiative, vCom has joined with AMERICAN FORESTS' Global ReLeaf program.

Global ReLeaf is AMERICAN FORESTS' tree planting program that works with local organizations and agencies to plant native trees for ecosystem restoration in the U.S. and abroad. Every $1 donated plants a tree in a Global ReLeaf project. These trees provide cleaner air and water, habitats for endangered species, and remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere to reduce the effects of climate change. AMERICAN FORESTS has a goal to plant 100 million trees by 2020. By going paperless, vCom continues to promote its online invoicing program to every new customer to maintain vCom’s new green standards.

On April 22^nd of this year, during the celebration of Earth Day, vCom joined in the paperless Tree Planting Program and helped contribute towards the planting of 500 trees which will go towards one or more Global ReLeaf projects. vCom looks to continually contribute to the Global ReLeaf program by donating one tree for every new customer who participates in paperless billing.

Furthermore, the consummation in becoming a Green Certified Business is nearing its end. Through tireless green-business audits, community outreach initiatives, and recycling everything from electronics to soda cans, attaining the Green Certified Business will be an appellation vCom will proudly embellish.
