Order Specialist
Company Introduction:
vCom Solutions, Inc. is a Telecom Management Service Provider focused
on helping businesses reduce their communication costs, while simplifying
the management of those services. We manage our clients’ entire telecom
lifecycle, including design, procurement, customer service, technical support,
and bill consolidation. We provide our customers with a true single point
of contact for all their communication needs, nationwide. We are delivering
innovative voice, data, and technology solutions to the small and medium
size business, while taking the burden of managing these complex telecommunication
solutions off of the business. This will allow our clients to focus on their
core business, while we manage their communications portfolio, focusing
on eliminating upfront capital expenditures, and reducing monthly recurring
fees.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Facilitate the administrative creation of orders and projects in database
- Work with respective VCOM team member to ensure they have the necessary
data to create and promote orders
- Perform verification, editing, integration and validation of data previously
entered to ensure the quality of the process
- Research billing issues pertaining to VCOM as well as other carriers
- Work with carriers to obtain Customer Service Records
- Provision conference calling accounts and generate summary notifications
- Prepare and process conferencing kits
- Generate and distribute calling cards and accompanying literature
- Research existing carrier plans and associated expiration/penalties
- Maintain customer history databases and other pertinent documentation
to monitor overall account activity
- Ensure adherence to documented regulations, company policies and procedures
- Assist Client Relationship Managers with various projects and tasks
Must posses the following qualities:
- The ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to work precisely with data and ensure that work meets quality
standards.
- The ability to work with a computer for long periods of time while concentrating
on detail work.
- The ability to recognize problems that may arise in the execution of
an order, and solve them, working with other departments as necessary.
- Remain constantly alert to opportunities to develop, improve and maintain
processes
- The ability to work well with the VCOM team, customers and vendors
- The ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
- The ability and desire to embrace technology, applications and knowledge
- Excellent client service, organizational abilities, and verbal and written
communication skills.
- Self-motivated, with high learning aptitude and initiative
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1-2 years of data entry and data accuracy/integrity
- Strong PC skills, including knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
and general knowledge of database software applications
- Strong data entry skills
- BA/BS preferred
