One of the highlights of 2012 was vCom being named the #4 Best Place to Work in the Bay Area in the small company category. award

There were 125 companies total recognized at the 2012 Best Places to Work in the Bay Area, produced by the San Francisco Business Times and the Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal. All in all, the companies who participated in the survey represent 142,583 employees throughout the Bay Area from Napa down to Monterey.Bay Area Best Places to Work

 

 

 

The Top 10 in each category were invited to give an acceptance speech of ten words or less. vCom’s Vice President of Human Resources, Isabel Fergadiotis, declared “Five years on the list – awesome team – and we’re hiring!” This set the tone for the night as many others repeated her line “and we’re hiring.” Click here to read the press release. 

 

 

 

vGreen BusinessCom received several other recognitions in 2012. In February, vCom was named a Certified Green Business through the Bay Area Green Business Program. This certification is a result of demonstrating full compliance with local environmental regulatory agencies and taking action to conserve resources and protect the environment. vCom was honored in a recognition ceremony before the Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors in April. In the fall, vCom received recognition for its redesigned website from the 2012 Marcom Awards and the Interactive Media Council. To top off the year, in December, vCom's vManager software received the TEM Excellence Awards from Internet Telephony Magazine.

Speaking of the vManager software, 2012 saw the release of the vManager software tool as an iPhone and iPad application.
